hmmm....i just thought of something. DOes anyone remember the midnight at Coltzan's Shrine rumor? Well.....wouldn't New Years Eve be teh best night?

I don't think its true, my sister's been waking up at 3 AM eastern time like all of xmas vacation to see if it worked and it didnt o.O I think she's crazy

I've heard that rumor. Did you try it? Did it work? Are you too busy spending all those wonderful, shiny neopoints to post and tell us what happened? lol

It would be cool if they had set that up, though. What a surprise for anyone who collected right at midnight.

Well the 55 seconds/dubloon theory sure doesn't work for me.
I've tried numerous times and no dubloon.
Usually I end up clicking at a random time and ending up getting a dubloon anyway. XD

I always thought that the rumour stated it had to be on midnight as it turns over into a new month, such as very early this morning/very late last night.

Yeah, I've heard of the rumor. I don't believe it though. It must be completely random. Can you imagine if a whole lot of people collected their million NP at one time? O.O;;

well, it used to be 1 mil. according to pinkpt.com, but now it's 100k and rumors says that only 1 person can get it per day. And you have to be exaclty on midnight, not 1 second before or afterwards. all of this is on pinkpt.com.

I've tried the shrine on other things like defense etc, and made sure I hit the right time by watching the clock. Either my internet broswer hesitates a second, or the statement about every 0 and 5th second is utterly false.

I've noticed the food thing around noon time fairly true most the time. Though I've gotten burnt food other times as well.

So far it appears to me the higher the pet's stats, the less it gets from the shrine.

To quote someone I really dislike:

Remember though, depending on your internet connection, you may need to click it 2-5 seconds ahead of time, I worked out my internet speed so I would click it about 1.3 seconds before the actual thing...

I.e.

you get 1 million NP at exactcally 12:00:00, click it at 11:59:58
