I was thinking of a cheat for meerca chase2 . Would I be allowed to run a program that kinda slows down the game to make it easier to play??

Dun think so ...

TNT seems to have some built in mechanism to detect if the game is running too slow or not ... :(

I wouldnt try it though, anywho, wouldnt the game become laggy and even harder than before? I personally think its easier when the games are running at normal speed.

You could always go use a cheap computer that lags naturally. it's still real fast and your actions lag so there's no point

I know what you mean, but I don't think it would be allowed. If you really think about it, that would be cheating. I wouldn't risk being frozen if I were you. :)

No matter what, it's against the rules to use a slow computer to cheat. I've heard of several people getting frozen for that.

People have been frozen for that, and some were only using the only (though in need of more RAM) computer they ever use. So, no.

They can indeed detect speed of computer....

The thing that they look out for most is whether or not the speed changes during gameplay... They might even be able to detect if the speed is simply different from "normal."

They can't stop you from running 10 neopets games at once.

Actually, I would be very careful doing that. That could definitely be considered as having "an advantage over other players," which could very well get you frozen.

And, regarding slowing down your computer to play the game. I also wouldn't risk my account to do that. A very, very big gamer who was either 1st or 2nd in number of game trophies got frozen a few months ago because he had replaced his computer's motherboard with an older (and therefore) slower one. He claimed that his computer had fried, he had no money to buy a new motherboard, so threw an old one in. I don't think Neo bought his story since his account has not been unfrozen.

lol... funny stuff. Now you can get banned for having a slow computer. Then why don't you bring up 30 internet explorers and say that you were camping all the shops?

Frozen, not banned. And, not for having a slow computer--but for taking a normally fast computer and slowing it down.
