Erm... I hope it's okay to post this.

It's the first poetry I've written in awhile, and I'm a bit rusty.

Little Bottles

I just want to forget about
What happened yesterday
I've got to move on with my life
I should be on my way

It hurts too much, I cannot stand
I can't get up or walk
I grope around and grab the key
Attempt to find the lock

I try to sleep off all my pain
But sleep cannot allay
This hurt I feel. I want to scream
I want to run away

The bottles keep my thoughts at bay
They drive her from my mind
The bitterness that they contain
Sole solace I can find

I drink the bottle quickly
I smash it on the floor
The little bottles free my soul
I want to think no more.

wow, I really like it!!^__^

It seems that some of the phrases could be broken down a bit more, but other than that, I love it!^^* very well portrayed! awesome job^^*

Wow, that was awestome... you do my favorite kind of poetry (as well as the one I usually write!)

And belive it or not - I forgot the title of the post and assumed the first four parts were about Eowyn. Can you belive me!?

Now it's.... Eomer. Because... well... oh don't make me SAY this!

Eowyn alter-ego: Because Eomer drank heavily, I swear. He was staggering outta the houses of healing like a tipsy boar...
