Control, Prntscrn, and Sysrq.

For me, it's just hitting the Print Scrn/SysRq button, then Pasting (Ctrl-v) into a photo editor. Paint'll do just fine as well.

I use a program that was free to download called Screenhunter. I like it because I can choose to take a square area, the active window, or whole screen. I can choose to open it in any art program, or save it as a gif or jpg. I can also choose to show the mouse pointer or not. I highly recommend.

It will also capture from flash.

I use shift+prt Sc to take mine but I don't think the shift button is necessary.
