I think maybe it's just the servers are a little overloaded since everybody is trying to figure out how to get the new side bar? I am getting the down page, but when I refresh everything is back to normal. (for the moment)

It's on and off down for me - mostly down. I did get a nifty RE where some ice devil or something stole my spooky shake, but then it went down again and has stayed down.

I'm on broadband and it's taking 2 minutes to load pages like the shrine and healing springs when it should only take a second. I keep seeing the smelly pteri as well

EDIT: oh, hang on, everythings going fine now...

Well, this may not be a very favourable option, but if you REALLY hate the lag, you can always disable images. In Firefox, you go to

TOOLS > OPTIONS > WEB FEATURES

There should be a lticked box that says "Load Images". Untick it for lightning fast Neo, but a really crappy experience. Or, if blocking all images isn't your bag, try just Ad-Blocking the little image at the bottom of the sidebar (The blumaroo and polarchuck) It speeds it up a little.
