It's not stupid, I knew the answer, can't remember it now, though I've always wondered why that number never rises while the market still does inflate, for example the WoE price going from 100np to 150np all these little thing :roll:

with any currency the cost of things inflate when more money is introduced.

Basically it means by how much more expensive items are than they used to be. I don't think the economy has ever deflated either.

I've take a few classes in economics so I understand pretty well =P

Let's just leave it at....

The more games = the more inflation.

The prices for almost ANYTHING well go up except for worthless items like piles of dung =p

It doesn't actually mean much on Neopets, since everything's inflating anyway. =P But back when it was at 1% or whatever, prices in the main shops were lower, than now.

Lemmie see if i get this straight... so when people play games more, more np appear out of no where,, therfore, more money in Neopia? so they ahve to make the prices higher so it would kind of be the same as normal prices, because there are more np in neopia to spend?

Ok wait...that means that all the prices in the shop are 2.31% more than usual?

How I understand it is...

work out how much NP is being made by games
Compare to how much used to earnt, say a year ago.

Work out percentage raise

Raise everythingthat amount from year agos prices.
