Me and PenguinDreams were talking, and we noticed whenever each of us replied to one of each other's PMs, it said we weren't on. Has this happened to anyone else, or is it just our luck?

It does that to me, too, when I respond to Medli. Well, anyone, actually, but most of the time I talk with Medli, so Medli.

I find it quite odd. Especially when I'm looking back to see what I just sent, and it says I am offline.

Very unnerving.

Yeah, it's happened to me too...I'll get a PM from Medli or someone and it'll be like "Gaaah? She's offline? =(" It happens around the boards too..

I noticed it a long time ago, where the person's names were at the bottom and their lookup said they were offline... wierd.

But me and PenguinDreams were talking, and as soon as I read his PM, it said he was offline, but then today it said he was online.

When you check your outbox to edit something it says you are offline, which is very odd indeed. :P

There's also a five minute period. If someone sent you a PM, and they then did not do anything on PPT for five minutes, they would be deemed "not online." At least, that is my understanding of the system.

Err thats not what I meant exactly. I meant mods+ could see who was hidden, it is possible that you saw yourself as hidden though, thats happened to me before I believe.

And can I ask a question here... does it really matter?
