Anyone listen?

Basically, the pixies, a five piece band.
A GREAT band.
Surfer rosa was one of those albums that was very punk rock, but no one ever turned punk in that direction, really. The rest blew my mind when I first heard it. I went to see them last summer, best fourty bucks I've ever spent in my life.

If you can't get The best of pixies (wave of mutilation), get death to the pixies or surfer rosa.

Such a great band.

The Pixies used to be one of my favorite bands (about a hundred years ago when I was in high school). I never saw them in concert together, although I saw Black Francis in concert when he was Frank Black, and I've seen the Breeders in concert several times. I wasn't aware that they had a reunion going on. Makes me kind of disappointed that I'm in Alaska, where NOBODY tours :cry:

I'm not the biggest fan of the Pixies; however, some of their songs are entertaining. Haven't listened to them in ages, but Surfer Rosa was a pretty good album.

I think possibly you have to be in a certain mood to listen to them. Meh.
