I don't think you should risk it, wait for a few more people to conferm (sp?) that it works and then try, 100 Dubloons is alot.

Did you hear that from someone? Cause normally rumors aren't true ;) I don't think it steals your dubloons, if it does tell TNT (not that it would work, but it's something).

Eh, somehow when I re-read this post it didn't sound reassuring...

I dont know about the 100 dubloon coin thing, but the Golden Dubloon does NOT give out the correct change. I once paid 10 dubloons for something that only cost 2 dubloons and I only got 5 dubloons back.

I've had reports that the GOlden Dubloon doesn't always give the correct change. Sounds like a glitch.

Months back when the One Hundred Dubloon coin was worth around 100k, I went to the Golden Dubloon. I ordered stuff that cost a total of 8 dubloons. When I ordered, they took my One Hundred Dubloon Coin and didn't give me any change back. Now here is the funny thing: I had some Fifty Dubloon Coins, some Twenties, Tens, Fives, Twos, and Ones in my inventory. But for some reason, they took the largest coin I had and didn't give me anything back. I never went back there again. I don't know if TNT fixed this yet or not, but here is a tip: go in there with the EXACT amount of dubloons you are going to spend so you don't run into a glitch.

it's not a glitch. you would always be ripped off some dubloons if you pay with a larger denomination. when buying a petpet from little nippers, a cove item or stuff from the golden dubloon, you would not get the exact change. the pirates are poor with their maths
