Actually, I think its quite likely that it could be the other way around, that Arrow has been brain washed by Rune.

I have been taken against my will.
They only want me because I bring an element of fear.
*sigh*
It's such a tough job being staff sometimes.
And I mean... Runes quite overbearing. Always orders with her... the only reason the staff are still here are because we're all afraid of her weilding that frying pan. Last time someone left, she bludgeoned them until their eyes popped out.
Sad really.
She was such a nice girl until she was corrupted by power.
