SonyBMG have said that the new album is due sometime in November! *jumps up and down* There are rumours that the following songs will be on there:
Prisoner of a Long Day (might be new single)
The Last Song I'm Wasting on You (MIGHT be on Ben Moody, doubt it though)
Breathe No More (don't think so, they said that they would have all new material)
Alone (was supposedly going to be on the soundtrack for a video game)

Ben Moody isn't the sole writer of the band. Amy Lee, John LeCompt and many others are very capable of pulling out an album all by themselves.

Amy Lee co-wrote and every song on Fallen and many others. Ben Moody did the same. The album will be awesome with or without Ben.

I hope so. I heard that it was going to be much darker, but I hope they make a fast song. I especially liked 'Bleed', too bad it never got released. (Bleed is also known as 'I Must Be Dreaming')

UPDATE: Amy Lee recently told Billboard that she might consider a career for choir teacher for a college choir. Could this spell an end to Evanescence in a few years?

I think Evanescence are going to be around for a while yet, but it's wise Amy is thinking of her future.

Amy only said that she wanted to become a teacher, be it choir or normal, if she wasn't in Evanescence. And she told billboard that if she was to go "solo" that would be her choice. Going to teach choir.

Well, there are rumours going around that the following songs will be on there:

Also, according to an MTV article, this album is supposedly much, much different from Fallen, with more organ and more songs such as 'Haunted' and 'Tourniquet'. After this one I think they really will be classified as Gothic Rock.

It's too bad about the wait, though. Ah well, this way's a bit better, because I wouldn't like it if they just did another Fallen. I don't think they're done recording yet, they might be during the summer and start their tour promoting the CD a little while afterwards. You never know...

Evanescence doesn't have a song about Ben Moody. They have songs about what they're feeling but nothing directly about Ben Moody. I assume it's about Amy's past boyfriend, the song "Going Under" is about him.



I believe it's possible. I would want it to be released.



I heard the album is set to be released November 2005. Meaning a single or two would be released before hand. I don't care how long they take, as long as the album is good, I'll buy it.
