On my neo pet page, if I write PPT or PinkPoogleToy, it gets blocked! Why is this?

It's been that way for awhile now. I actually got 2 warnings for posting it yesterday on the neoboards.

I thought you could write Pink Poogle Toy (with spaces) since it's the name of an actually item.

TNT blocked it because there were some fights on the neoboards about PPT.

Yeah if you go to some moderators and admins userlookups,shops,petpages and other stuff it says temporarily blocked .. the TNT staff is just being immature

There was a thread I posted in quite a while back... I tried to neomail the words Pink Poogle Toy to a girl who was looking for the site, and when I sent the mail, a list generated on my screen of (presumably) words the filters look for. Pinkpt, Pinkpt.com, Poogletoy... alot of variations of the site name were on the list. Funny, though.... Soup faerie is more than welcome.

Neononsense is fun! As for links in his userlookup, there aren't any right now, just an enormous picture of an asparagus chia. Kind of funny, his shop's description was found to be unsuitable and was removed, lol.

Yep, they blocked a whole bunch of variations of PPT on neo. There's ways to bypass the filter, but I suggest you only do so on petpages, since anywhere else is liable to earn you a warning.

I tried to update on of my petpages recently, and I found that they've blocked MORE variations of PPT. I eventually had to go with Pink PT, it seems the only way to get around it now is separate the words.

It's kind of silly, though. What if you wanted to tell someone what your favorite online plushie was? "Oh, my fave plushie is the *link blocked*!" Nice.

Its all because of the big row over advertising and spyware.

Personally, I think TNT is over-reacting, if not just a tad jealous of PPT. One would think they'd have better things to do, such as fixing the damn servers! I am so sick of glitches, accidental double-postings, and 'down for maintenance' pages that I could scream.... *whew* There, I vented, lol!!

The message boards on Neo have gotten way out of hand, in regards to report-happy twits. I mean, really... Does it really matter if some poor newbie posts one of the eternal chain letters? Just don't read it. If you think a subject is off-topic, don't read it. Nobody makes anyone else click on the links! Just my two cents worth....

I seriously can't understand why linking to Pink Poogle Toy would be a bad thing on Neopets. Its a site that helps you play the game! They're treating it like its a bad word or something.
