I opened up the PinkPT main site, then clicked on the forums. This is what I got...

:o Where it said rerouting, it said something about skipping to the website or something... didn't get a screenshot of that.

I'm just worried about this, because I've never seen an ad that big before, and I've never gotten an ad like that while going to the forums. Kinda scary. o_O

o.O After reading that, I went to another board and went to look at the PPT Collage of 2003 and I got a gigantic ad just like that O.o

To this, I really have only one thing to say- ads are demonic but necessary evils. Would you rather have a big ad in your face or no PPT at all? (Me assuming PPT cannot run without sponsors, that is)

And I believe Yukio said in the past that all ads have been made sure not have spyware or anything else, so really all it is is an annoyance. Not a horribly huge deal.

That's not what bothers me. It's the size that really gets me, and how it breaks up page browsing.

You're getting a rather pesky ad, eh? It'll show you the advertisement and then redirect you (after a few seconds) to the page you originally requested. Coming directly to the forum index seems to bypass these the whole thing though. So use the direct forum link for now. As for content pages on the mainsite, they will still be plagued.

Thanks for bringing them to our attention. :)

If your browse PinkPT, they're sure to get you.

But, as Bangel said, they are a necessary evil.
