Pink Poogle Toy Forum

I was just wondering if anyone is having the same problem with the forum search as I am. I can search for single words fine but whenever I try to do a search using AND it just returns what looks like a list of every single thread on the whole forums (29043 matches no matter what I search for) :/ And because it returns so many threads which have nothing to do with my search query it often times out before it manages too. I'm not sure if the other operators you can use to narrow your search have the same effect but AND certainly does. It's been doing it for a while but I thought it was maybe just a temporary problem, it wouldn't be a big deal except that I almost always need to use AND in my searches.

Any chance of this being fixed or is it just me?

For the record I know that search on phpbb in general is really flawed (I frequent a few phpbb forums outside of PPT and have had similar problems.)

Try fiddling around with the other options in the search.

- Make it more exact by using "search all terms"
- Limit your search to message text and not by topic
- Just make your search as specific as possible.
