Free verse Ode to the LDP:

Tomos, Nabile, and Amira,
Traveling around Sakhmet and the areas around.
Jazin comes to town,
Riding his enslaved Uni.
Hey! That guy talked! Neopets rights must be notified!

The evil prince has the hots for the princess.
She just wants to chill.
Tomos and Nabile want to steal.
Grarrl shopkeeper wants to envoke Hammurabi's code.

When the fortune teller beckons,
PSST!
The mysterious tablet.
Link to the Temple of 1000 Tombs... and one Gift Shop of 1000 Trinkets.
Maze of doors, symbols, colors and traps.
Find the statue. Read a scroll.
Darn lockouts!

Ra, Djo, Ahn, Saf, Kha, Tep, Nem, Kar, Set, Fer, Ben, Lat.
But no Stargate!
Gold, Red, Green, Silver, Blue, Black.
Rectangle, Triangle, Oval, Pentagon.
Match the riddle.
Find the statue.
River, Maze, Astral.
The libraries where you check out for 12hr.

Read the tablet and get scarabed.
Dump the prince and violate physical laws.
Lost in Qasala,
Tomos and Nabile step on bugs,
Find traps and map tombs.

Scroll repository, buried in sand.
Foreman will hit,
Will yell,
Will give time out.
Ruki build furniture,
Takes forever,
Lasts forever?
ID plays with chalk.
Ed will show us where to go.
Blasted thieves.

Carry the sand to civalization,
Sell for 8k NP!
Move a block,
Win a LDPB!
Move a ton of furniture,
What! It isn't over?!

Tomos survives the trap and finds an armory.
I want an armory.
Nabile reads the tablet.
No training necessary.
Scarabs fight the Qasalan Mummies.

Is that where the stolen furniture goes? (Thieving Scarabs.)
Is that portrait Nabile or a relative? (Future princess anyone?)
Ed is an Ann? (Not you Elric!)
Is Adam a Goa'uld? (Makes sense to me.)
What is up with all the Scamanders? (Hard to catch.)

Why, TNT, why?
Where are the clues?
More sand to move.
We want a Sand PB.
Hurry for the communal challenge.

A Tribute to a Bored PPTer

Jojoneo needs a task.
Is the foreman the one to ask?
Will the teller tell us our fate?
Or do we need a new path to Sakhmet's gate?
Prince Jazan has a shady backstory.
While we wait here at the scroll repository.
The LDP seems to move real slow.
When it end, we will not know.
Work hard and prizes we'll find,
Hopefully before Ed leaves a blurry chalk line.

Fortunately, most is not that droll.
Homer we ain't.
Pentameter we cain't.

Haiku would be fun.
Too bad we have limited verse,
Or else this could work.

Seth has corrupted Adam.
The Muses have infused us.
I prefer Lady Isis.
Free verse will flow through the plot.
We will keep our eyes keen.

Running out of things to discuss.
The plot is set.
We are searching.

I don't mind losing health, but to 'gansta' rap?
Hit me in the head like a backhand slap.

Wrote an epic last night.
Guess that ain't tight.
Got to fight back with all my might,
If that a'ight.

Must work on plot now.
Fortunte teller is a Kau.
Jazan's magic makes us go wow.
But what do we do now?

Now were on a poetry craze.
Free verse leaves others in a haze.
Haiku knocks 'em back in a daze.
Rhyme is like a straight maze.

TNT will make the plot progress.
Adam is a Goa'uld, or in league with Seth.
Surely, we will have more success.
And my name ain't Sherly nor Beth.

For now, Elric will make comics.
I will do some math homework. Some involves conics.
And we'll all bust rhymes like Hooked on Phonics.

Um, I'm not so sure about that. It's kind of long and several members have already expressed that they'd like plot info and questions only. That's kind of why these threads were made. You *can* however post that you have made an update and post a link to the thread here.

"So Much Drama in the LDP"


The Lost Desert has been wiped clean
Right along with the Fruit Machine!

Kau Fortune Teller's spinning scroll
Has minds exhausted to a slow crawl.

Lucky you got a Lost Desert Paint Brush;
But in the end, it isn't / ain't much.

What are these symbols and what are they for?
Why do I fall into a trap behind every door?

I must admit, in a knotted mind twist,
It certainly makes me raise up a fist!

An alternate dimension help deep in suspension;
To get there you need a mental extension.

So tired from mapping over one-thousand Tombs
Each with 5 doors; some two-hundred eighty-five rooms.

After reading some blogs
I linked to 99dogs,

Found myself there
Tearing out my hair.

Long stagnant delay in the plot;
Brain about to form a blood clot.

All my clicking was in vain;
Hands, wrists and arms in pain.

I received no great Random Events;
Yeah, I know, just didn't make sense.

So I custom-made a souvenir
Sure to remember I was here.

Good thing I did order a shirt in real life,
A reminder I put up with all of this strife.

You'd think my feelings would be hurt:
"...All I Got Was This Lousy T-shirt"?!

Given to a Yurble Chef, couldn't even let us keep it;
Might as well have been stolen by an evil pink Meepit.

In exchange we received some pretty Useless Crystals;
Okay, admittedly, guess I do kind of miss those.

The Grundo Leader and Pant Devil
Sure created a lot of dishevel.

Forget the neverending maze of the Temple,
Scroll Repository really isn't any more simple.

Mesmerized by Reports of Anubis Toxicology,
I suspect it's the influence of Scientology.

Kadoaties are hungry from not being fed;
This time they're not craving a Blue Draik Egg.

Zombies and mummies wrapped all up in bandages?
What's next? Red Rhuby Fruit Marmalade Sandwiches?

Qasalan monsters are still roaming undead;
Leads me to think something remains unsaid.

A double-headed Scorchio's still on the lam
Hey! Has anyone .. checked out .. the Neocam?

Nope, it's just a red herring
Seemingly having no bearing.

You'd have more fun Well-Wishing
Or even at Underwater Fishing.

Than trying to wrap your mind around,
While also keeping your sanity sound.

A yet-to-be-revealed Tombs in the Rumble?
Ummagine a game that's been seriously fumbled.

No hints in Site Updates or Editorial posts
Maybe Adam and Donna were Stolen By Ghosts?!

The Lost Desert Plot has been continued ...
We still have yet to resolve this feud.

Now choose a Scimitar, Mace or Spear;
This plot could go on for another year.

Re-translating this Mysterious Tablet
Has now become some kind of Insane habit.

At least I did my part to help weaken Razul;
Didn't even need to go to Battledome school.

Thank you for guiding us, Mr. dirtside;
Wondering when it will be the last stride? ...

Lost Desert Plot Poems

Sleep is needed.
TNT has not heeded.

Jazan and Nabile have unsure roots.
Will they end up [Poetic metaphor deleted for adult content].

Tomos and Amira are left.
The foreman is a chef.

The Spirit will take all we can muster.
All we need is a Ghostbuster.

If Nabile is a princess, she'll have all the luck.
If that happens, I'll yell [Poetic metaphor deleted for adult language].

Up all night looking for clues.
At least [AS] cures the blues.

Rock on you plot solving warriors.

Ode to a Mysterious Scroll

A scroll.
So droll.
Next quarter I learn to bowl.

What the deuce?
What's the use?
I've actually seen a Goose
Made of Spruce.

Will Nabile get married?
Jazan is scary.
Tomos parried
The mummy that ain't hairy.

Give the scroll to royalty.
Get paid handsomely?
A prize to take to the Neggry?
Or just another trip to the Repository?

Laser blasted through the wall.
Lots of walking down a hall.
Who likes Anubis? None at all.
All because of a useless crystal.

Will this plot end soon?
Hopefully not before tomorrow afternoon.
Will Jazan see is doom?
Or will Nabile fawn [Ha! A pun!] and swoon?

Only time will tell
If Sakhmet is trapped in another plane of existance or trapped in a shield of bent light or phase shifted to reflect a non-visible spectra.
