I felt really bored today, so I decided to draw a creature or something.

I tinkered a bit with the picture to smoothen the colors. I tried shifting the hue from blood red to purple, but I decided it is best when the colors are simply inverted. The overall picture and atmosphere look better now, since a monster is supposed to be in the dark. The eye looks a bit wrong, but it's still quite alright.

Frankly, I'm amazed with the background now since the cave now looks like realistic, considering that I only spent about 5 minutes drawing and shading the stalactites and the stalagmites. I never knew a simple 'Invert Colors' from Paint can be so wonderful :D

I know the hand looks wrong, but I just felt like getting this over with -_-

Comments and criticisms are welcome :)

Hehee, neato! That sure looks like a spooky cave monster.

It looks like the invert tool really showed off some details. Ah, tools from a graphics program are awesome. -^^-

I like the upper body/head of the monster. I see its body outline/structure better.

I'm curious to see how your picture looks without the invert-ness. Do you have that?

Thanks, the one without the invert doesn't look as menacing though, even though it shows greater detail. Maybe it actually looks better for other people compared to the inverted one, but it's just a matter of opinion. :)

Imageshack is currently under maintenance, so I can only upload to Angelfire...
