I made a collection of almost all the paint brushes but im going to university now and i have no time to waste on neopets. Ive decided to give my paint brushes. Write a 100 or more word article on why i should give u my paintbrush and what paint brush u want. Only pick 1 (i dont have the fire, fire, paint brush). Email it to E-mail removed, only 1 article PER person if u try to cheat i can trace ur ip and i can tell if your sending more than 1 or not and your ip will be forfeited from the contest.

And pick a number from 1 - 1000 , this way if i cant pick beside two articles for a paint brush the person whoever has the closest number to my favourite number will get it.

If ur a winner i will contact u about receiving the prize by replying to ur email address.

This sounds too good to be true.... But if you really are giving away paint brushes for free, then kudos to you.

I will probably pick the winners 2 weeks from now. If i dont get enough emails some people will just end up getting 2 or 3 pbs

Although, giveaways are againt the neopets rules, and i think the forum follows them here, too. But im not sure.

Heh, I gave away my entire account over 2 years ago, because I thought I was never going to play again. Last I searched, it's still active. So I don't think they are tracking it that badly.

...I'd be wary of making any contact with someone who has never posted here before.

I do seem to remember this being against the rules. Why not just have people post their names and just send them the items? You can pretty much tell from people's post count, rank, and how they write here if they'd be appreciative of a gift.

Why not just have people pick numbers and each paint brush can have a corresponding number? And the person gets the paint brush that is closest to the number they chose?

It's a very generous thing and all, but the tracing of IPs and essays and emails is a bit unnerving for me.

There is no way to trace an IP address from an e-mail. That was just put in there as an incentive not to enter more than once.

I am going to ask that you do not take it poutside the forum. I know you are being really generous, but I'd rather keep it in the forum, especially given your new status and the recent virus and spyware scares going around.

This is not locked becuase of the essay writing. I feel that this is perfectly justified, and that I have notived a lot of people being rude in varioud giveaways and feel this is a good way to avoid giving it to blunt, rude people or people who are just signing up for a paint brush, or whatever.
