Here's a question... about how often does your lab ray pet change species? I've been labbing the same pet for 3 months and had no species change, and only two color changes and I'm starting to wonder if I'm EVER going to get a species change!

some times I'll go for months without anything happening, then others it's like every time i use it it changes. It's really really sporadic. Most of the time I just get hp +/- or levels added/decreased. But it'll happen don't worry.

When I first got the lab ray, I changed species and colors about once every two weeks. I've had it for a little while now, and the last time I changed was the day before the "pwned" av came out... Darn you lab ray!!!

The lab ray is very random, and very, very unpredictable. One day you can have a female faerie ixi...next week its a male mutant blumaroo. It's just a roll of the dice.

Yes the lab ray is quite random like everyone else said...I can go for a long time without getting a species change or I've had one 2 days in a row once. But I have gotten 2 species changes since the avatar came out so it really just depends on if you happen to get lucky.

I got the pwned day today and i just got the map yesterday .... so it must be pretty random ...

Well according to IDB

The lab changes your species about 3% of the time.

I"m not sure how recently this was updated though since it has the price of the map extreamly cheap.

if you look at the results
it gives a 3% chance of just species change and a 9.3% chance of changing both colour and species so that is a bit higher

I got the lab ray about 3 weeks ago and it's only changed my pet's colour once and never changed species. I always use it at the same time and my pets are always in the same mood, so maybe it could be influenced by that. Try going at different times etc. and see if it helps.

I remember on my old account a few years ago the lab ray changed my pets' colour/species just as often, if not more, than their stats. Wonder what changed...

Well, I've been using it for a month or so, and I've had two Species and Colour change (Red Kougra - Green Yurble - Starry Yurble - Blue Blumaroo - Pink Blumaroo - Yellow Blumaroo) and three colour changes.

Since the Av came out, all I've had is stat changes. I use to get colour changes every week and species changes every 2 or 3 weeks. Now, nothing

It's totally random.. Though when I end up chaning species they aren't that great....

I think they decreased the chances of getting a species change since they released the Pwned Av.

I haven't gotten any species change for a while though actually.

What Mark said is correct, they did infact decresase the chances, and I hate that!

I also think Mark is right, but I like it since I use the lab for stats rather than colour/species changes.
