Which do you like better?

I cats. I have two. I don't necessarily hate dogs, I just had a bad experience with them at a young age.

Dogs. Especially the breeds; Rhodesian Ridgeback, Border Collie, German Shepherd, Black Labrador, Springer Spaniels..

I can never really choose. I may like dogs more and am more willing to get more dogs w/o a second thought, but I can never dislike any cute little kitty.

Has to be both for me.

There's no way I can choose. I've lived with both species all my life and love them equally. Cats look beautiful and their purrs make me sleepy. It's nice when you've a cat lying on your chest when you're in bed. My cat Big Flossy used to do that all the time.

I like dogs because they're loyal (and I really think they are, I'm not using a stereotype here). My dog protects my mom a lot and she is definitely loyal towards her. They also look happy most of the time and it cheers me up seeing a dog with a waggy tail

Both. I love my cats, and I love my dog. I don't think either is stupid, lazy (let me get this straight- dogs are usually really energetic during the day, so they're not lazy, whereas cats are insanely energetic during the night, but not at day so they're... lazy.), etc.

When I was 6 I was chased by a bulldog for about 5 minutes through a park.

When I was 9 I sat on a cat by accident and it clawed me a lot.

I've kind of gotten used to dogs a bit more now but I still hate cats....

Definitely dogs, for a million reasons.

As for 'cats are lazy', not really. It depends on the individual cat, just as it depends on the individual dog. I have a dog that's extremely lazy, and another dog that is extremely active. It just varies per animal. And as for 'cats kill mice'... well, yeah. But my dogs have killed snakes, moles, mice, birds, squirrels... etc. It's instinct for both species. So that's not really a great argument either.

Cats. I liked them better even before having to live with a 15 year old dog who, lets put it this way, can't always get outside in time.

Both. Even though I've lived with cats longer than dogs (my whole life versus about 10 years), I love both of them, for different reasons.

I don't like cats, at all. I don't mind my Siamese, but the kitten my brother brought home has reminded me why I don't like them. (aside from the fact that trying to walk my cat would be interesting, at best).
