Can we get the last thread posted in displayed on the forum index? It's kind of annoying when you're looking for something to be replied to. I know several other neopets forums do it.

Pweeeeze? :battar:

I always just click on my name at the top where it says users browsing this forum and search my posts, kind of a long process, but it works. o_O

Although that would be kind of helpful.

If it's that important, I generally remember to just check it without needing that feature... but you can also figure this out by checking "notify me when reply is posted" after you post, and you will be emailed when someone replies to the topic.

The whole point of a last posted in thread is to save time. :(

The "View posts since last visit" just below where you log out has a list of all the threads that have recently been posted in. They're in chronological order (most recent to least) and it continues to update while you're logged in. Only problem with it is that you have to be logged in but otherwise that's what I use and it's awesome. I also use the ego search to ensure I haven't missed any threads I'm following in the "since last visit" list. I bring the boards I'm actually reading up in a new window so that I can continue to refresh both the tracking pages too.

I don't think that it's worth the effort to save a click or two.

I had made a poll to see how many people prefered it or not.

Poll was locked because it's a repeat topic. It's not really worth the modification. It doesn't take that long to do a couple extra clicks (even on dial up, unless you're in a horrid area.). I find the forums less cluttered without it, and I hated it when we had it before (or whatever it was that we had before. It annoyed me).

We did have that at one point before, instead of it saying "Last post at *TIME* by *NAME*" it said "Last post at *TIME* in *TOPIC* by *NAME*" I'm on dialup, and it doesn't take me hardly any time to check.... I don't think it's a big deal.
