1024x768.

It's the maximum my monitor allows.

Otherwise, it would be at some enormous value; I know a guy with an Alienware laptop, and his resolution is absurd.

Mine is 1280x800. It's a widescreen laptop, thus the oddly-configured resolution. It's the maximum size, and I love it. I dread going onto my desktop because it's only 1024x768.

I played roller coaster tycoon 2 and the maximum size was 1024x768.

1024x768

600x800 is unreasonably large to me and 1280x1024 is small enough to be useless to me (I can read it, there's just absolutely no reason for me to make it that small.)

1024x768 is probably ideal for most computers (and can run most things without having to worry about cutting off the screen), while 600x800 is good for many of them too (sometimes I don't have enough room to see or read something on 600x800, but overall, it's not that bad.)

(and for the record, I can only run those three sizes)

800x600, the smallest screen size it can be.
I'd like it bigger, but the rest of my family would be angry at the change.

1280x1024. I'd go to 1600x1200, but that resolution is not supported by my monitor.

Heh my family were the same, but I gradually increased the resolution slowly and every time they protested but now they're used to it ^^

On my dad's computer(which I'm on now), it's 1280 by 1024. I like it. Big screen = good, because I don't have to scroll as much. On my(and my brothers') comp, its, um, probably 1024 by 786? I'll check when my brother gets off.

Edit//
Nevermind, it's 1280 by 1024 on here too. Or at least it is now, I forgot to check what it was before playing around with it, but this looks like what it was.

1280x1024 - I would feel like I was still on Windows 95 if it were any smaller.

What's wrong with Windows 95? :D

On a completely unrelated note, I propose we install Linux with Opera and GIMP on every computer in the world.

And OpenOffice, just for good measure.

And any other high-quality, open-source software we find lying around. (I can chip in "Stephen Hawking's Pro Wheelchairing.)
