What's the real name and artist that did the song that everybody knows as "Teenage Wasteland"? This has me sore vexed, and I want to hear it...

Now I'm pretty new to this whole PPT Forum thang, but yes - the song christened 'Teenage Wasteland' (as heard in the opening credits to CSI: NY), is in fact called Baba O'Riley.

It's the title track from the very famous Who album 'Who's Next?' .

If you're interested, the song Behing Blue Eyes, as covered by Limp Bizkit, is also on this album.... and yes, The Who version is better. And if you're not a Who devotee, I reccomend Won't Get Fooled Again as well. =D

Just make sure that from now on you call the song "Baba O'Riley" and not "Teenage Wasteland". :P Many fans of The Who will get very angry when it's referred to by the wrong name.

Indeed. I have already made that mental switch. I feel much better inside than I did before. I am a better person now that I call the song "Baba O'Riley" 8)
