Okay so I made a dumb mistake and set my timezone wrong (ofset in the wrong direction)

If I quit my game and start again do I get to select a new timezone?

Yes. You can set the timezone at the start of every game you create, but only once per game.
Double check the timezone next time, so you don't have to restart and lose what profits you've made

yes, but doesnt that give you a disadvantage? you're starting later than others

Eh, you could look at in two ways.

For one, you'd be disadvantaged because you'd be starting later.

However, if your timezone was wrong, you might not be able to do anything at all

Some people have said you can get above the required 50k in less than 10 days if you do well. In addition to that, if its possible to get 1 mill (for the gold trophy?) in a month surely starting a few days late isn't going to be a major disadvantage Good luck with the game!

It is possible. In less than 10 days actually - I got above 50K in two days. It was at the end of the month though

this whole time zone was confusing to me at first. I messed up 2 months ago royally, but last month I finally understood everything 1 week before the end of the month and I managed 250,000np profit. I had to understand what time I play the site the most. I am an early bird person. I get up at 5am every morning, do my mornings and then log onto neo at 6am.. so I play about 4 or 5 hours till I get bored (off and on all day though) so I wanted the plushie tycoon time to be between the PT working hours of 9-5.. so I found a time zone that equals my 6am morning login where as when I go to PT its 9am there. so I can play within the 9am-5pm Plushie time. It worked wonderful for me that last week in June.. goodluck.. (dont know if anyone understood this)
