Pink Poogle Toy Forum

Three Things:
1. Mods, I think this is the right forum. Please move it if I am mistaken.
2. My mall banner is ugly, and I want to make a new one.
3. I have no clue, and would like some sort of banner walkthrough, if you will.

Well...where would you like to start? What would you like on your banner? What program are you using?

I am making a banner with just basic mall categories to distribute to those in my mall. It will not have a large heading like the one currently in my shop, nor will it link to the mall leader even though he doesn't have the banner in his shop. I can use MS Paint and Paint.Net, even though the layering of items on Paint.Net is confusing as heck. Will use anything I can legally download for free if it's better.

Categories possible:
Food for the Mind (Books and Rare Food) (mine)
Food Shop
Petpets
Training Supplies
Maps + Meds
Toys

For a graphics program, The GIMP is pretty good! It's free. There's a bit to learn about layers there, too, though.

Okay, I'm downloading that as I restock. GIMP paths make me want to bang my head on my desk repeatedly, go out for coffee, come back and bang my head again. It's that annoying. Layers I kinda get, but mods, lock this. this forum moves slower than my aunt going on a walk.
