So supposedly it is a non lethal beam that makes its victims feel like theyre on fire. Practical uses, I have no idea

In the future, these will be created to heat things to 451 degrees Fahrenheit.
Then we'll use them to burn libraries.
Then somebody will write a god-awful book about it.

I saw it on tv. people actually tested it on themselves. They don't feel like they are on fire but very hot, instantly. They reported that the feeling was an instant wave of about 55C if i remember which is very fare from the heat of fire. It heats you up quickly is all.

I can think of a few practical uses for that. Y'know, if they ever need anyone to make sure it works in Canada, I'm willing to give my time and effort to the cause.

Least mine wont.
Well, they will, but I shall treat my robot workers like children, and pay them harty rates and offer them positions of power in the post apocalyptic earth after we have crushed their cretinious brethren.

I may have put too much though into this really.
