Most people say I'm smart to have a boat coming up to my mind first.

The first thing I thought of was a cell phone. Assuming I had coverage, I could call someone and say, "Hey, stuck on a desert island here! Send help before I starve please."
A boat would probably be smarter, but knowing me I'd sink it or drift out to sea and starve anyway.

If I were really stuck on the island, and allowed no way off or contact with the outside, I'd bring(not counting the obvious food and stuff) a library :P

I'd like to point out to all of you who would be bringing along computers with wireless internet... Where would the wireless station be? Get a computer that's solar-powered and uses satellite internet. ;P

I'd bring a helicopter. An air-conditioned one. That's also solar-powered. And includes a hottub.

A hottub in the middle of nowhere.Where would you get teh water?You could just jump in teh ocean.

Thing as in any noun as in people included.... I know who I would bring. :oops: And yes, that was my first thought in answer to the question. I guess companionship would make life there better. Not to mention all of the alone time :oops:
