For me, that would have to be the day of transaction of videos into books.I remember I had a very large holding of videos that day in my SDB, when I saw the items' pictures turned into red x's, and the description was gone, I started hoarding them.LOTS of them.I doubled my holding of videos that day, and then it happened.They turned into Retired books.The prices skyrocketed from the least expensive of 300NP to 75K(which has now lowered to 35K), to nearly unbuyable to one million neopoints.That day I opened up a Ultimate Riches bank account for the first time, and for me, my best day ever on Neopets.So go ahead, what's the most you've even seen an item(s) inflate in a day?

Only things that I have really seen skyrocket are things attached with avatars.

I agree about the avs--snorkle snouts were about 7,000 when I went to bed and 99,999 when I woke up. Luckily I had one in my inventory that I hadn't priced yet. Sweet.

magical poogle toys...
They used to be 20k back when there was poogle solitare, then it rose to 50k, and I thought it would stop there so I didn't hoard.
But I was wrong... then it got to 99k, and I also thought that was final...
But ti reached unbuyable :(

If I recall correctly, I believe they were worthless junk priced at about 50 np, then the avatar hit...

I recall a day where an avatar item got insanely inflated. It's the Bony Grarrl Club, of course. I bought the club for 800k via the trading post and tried to sell it for the same price. I ended up selling is desperation for 600k via auctions. Then, the avatar highscores tables came and the value of the club climbed to millions. The one who bought my club, of course was selling it a few weeks after for 6 millions. When I think I could have waited a bit to get the inflating profits, I just hate myself.

agrees with Mocha and Blue Wolf. Anything connected with an avatar, you can just type in the shop wizard, start refreshing and watch the prices rise by the minute! Sometimes I think avatars aren't such a good thing.

Same here, some of those items have gone from a couple of thousand to 90,000 or unbuyable in the space of a couple of hours, its insane!

I've seen a lot. When the books retired, they jumped pretty high. The recent Niten Hiroru card jumped from 2k to unbuyable in hours. That's the most recent I can remember.
