My rabbit just passed away. She was in terrible pain and bleeding from her back passage. We don't know what happened, really. Our dog and a few of the other neighbourhood pets have had the same thing happen to them (but they were okay fortunately) so we think it was a nasty bug. *sigh* I just can't believe this has happened. She was only 2 and rabbits can live for about 6-8 years, normally. A life cut short by a horrible, painful illness.

RIP, Temari. You were loved.

Ginger, I am so sorry to hear about your rabbit. I can't imagine having a pet die and how hard that is to deal with. I hope that someone can find out what caused your rabbit's death and what is happening to all of the other pets in your neighborhood.

You have all of my sympathy. The dog I grew up with died last year, and the one-year anniversary of it just passed. I still don't think I can really comprehend what happened.
