So on friday, my choir is leaving to go on tour through chicago....
Yeah, we're seeing the sears tower, millenium park, navy pier... blah blah...
But what some of my friends and I REALLY want to do, is find these places were some famous movies were shot.... such as The Blues Brothers, Home Alone.... umm.... cant remember anymore.
Anyway, I'm looking for references from Chicago, and from movies.... any help would be MUCH appreciated, because my friends and I would like to go to these locations, pose in there something like they did in the movie, and then come back and put it next to a screen capture.... So there are two ways you can help.
A) Name movies shot in chicago, which parts of the movies, as specific as you can get... scenes, locations, etc... seriously, I tried looking for some lists, but they didnt seem updated. Like RENT, and Spiderman, werent either of those shot in chicago somewhat? Lists AND PICTURES are both appreciated immensely!
B) If you are more familiar with the chicago side than the movie side, if you know specific buildings or areas where movies were shot, and could instead simply list those, that would help too!
I'd really appreciate some ideas guys. I can guarentee ill be posting any pictures we get here on PPT if they turn out well. Its just a cool project, but I need to do some research first! Please help!
