Meet whom i'm fondly calling Ratticus. He's a project in my studio course. He's a 30 x 20 inch painting that i've spent 45 + hours on so far, and am still not even half done. (Background and all that).

This is his tail (it's incomplete). (lol. I'm so tired I almost wrote "uncomplete)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/ ... GP2716.jpg A body shot. (yes he is green, but his species (which doesn't exist) has an explanation for that).

Front half.

Back half.
And yeah, he's all watercolor. Lots of little brush strokes, thousands and thousands of brush strokes and multiple layers. It's not easy to get that sorta build on something that big. I think i'm nuts. HAH!
He's still not completed and it's making me a bit nuts. Him, complied with 9 other small drawings I have to complete as well as exams is an unpleasant situation to deal with. But yeah. I figured I should share while I have a camera as he is definately not scannable. So there he is. The colors are all messed up i'm sure. He's got a lot of blues/greens, and fun ness in him. And i'm sorry for my absolutely terrible photos, but I am very fond of him.
If I do nothing else with my semester and only finish him, I will be happy.
