What's wrong with the Fanciful Fauna shop in Shenkuu? I've been there for 25 minutes and no restock at all. What's with it?

I just visited and there were two critters on sale, a Sandan and a Tomamu.

Oh, I see what your problem is.

Shenkuu petpets is full of relatively rare items, so the shop doesn't always restock. There's a "random" algorithm that restocks items based on rarity, which equates to a probability function of any particular item restocking. Low-probability (high-rarity) restocks don't always happen.

So the shop, even if it is attempting to restock, won't always do it because the items are too rare to appear in the shop.

Same thing happens in brightvale potions and halloween armour.
