Its funny how people in Quebec have just celebrated Quebec day (St Jean) and basically don't care for Canada day xD It usually goes something like this "Mehhh I got way too drunk last week. I don't feel like moving for Canada Day" ...Teehee

I'm another one of those people. ;) Of course I work at a racetrack so we hear both the Canadian anthem and American anthem everyday. :P

Whats really wierd is the on July 2nd, all stores HAVE to be closed if the 2nd falls on a Monday, but they can be open on Sunday, July 1st for 6 hours. Crazy laws. :o

I wish that law was instilled in Ontario; I worked on Monday.

If it's a federal law it would be Canada wide; which it's not. If it's a law in Manitoba only then it's a provincial law. Definately not a federal law if so many shops were open.
