I am thinking about starting a medieval/fantasy RP, but I don't want to do it if there will only be one other person involved. Thusly I want a post from everyone that is even remotely interested in joining. If many people are interested, I will write up a story and a few prelilminary characters and rules. If not, this thread will drop.

That is a given. I realize that participation at PPT in general will be down significantly in the coming months, given that the main membership of Neopets, and thus PPT, is still in some sort of school, there will be less time to do anything online.

As a related sidenote: I am writing the story as we type. If this RP turns out well, I may novelize it, so keep that in mind once it begins. That is to say, please choose your words and actions carefully.

I need to take a quick poll before I launch this. By the way, if you are passing through, the applications are still open. Just post your interest. The poll that I would like to take is whether or not those of you interested would want a free-verse RPG, or a Storyteller-type game. In the first, I would introduce the story and play as all NPCs (if that makes sense). The latter would be more complicated, dealing with stats and such. It would also be more organized and possibly more fruitful. Completely up to you all, but I need to know what you all would rather have before I finish up the opening story.

I'd like to join in, too, if you don't mind. In your poll, I'm slightly confused by your options. Do you mean the choices are between an interactive story type rp or a tabletop type rp?

No... I mean story-type rp or freeverse, where you can do pretty much whatever you want. The first is more game-oriented, where the second one is more story oriented. When it is story-type, the characters would have attributes and such that would factor in when certain actions would be taken. In the freeverse, there is absolutely no regulation of what happens in the rp, aside from the opening post. I wouldn't publish what was written directly. That would be silly. I could still take the ideas and concepts and such from it and publish it, regardless of the original format. The result of this poll will not affect the outcome of my choice to publish.
