The following are the rules to "The Game." Its a simple game, but by knowing about "The Game", you are forced to play it for all eternity.

The object of "The Game" is simple. To win, you must forget you are playing "The Game."

Every time you remember "The Game", you have lost "The Game" and must restart.

Losses must be acknowledged by expressing aloud something like "Damnit" or "Darn the game" etc

You are now playing "The Game". Tell your friends

It's the opposite with me. I spent my whole summer saying "I just lost the game" with everyone else in the middle of class, playing Mao, basically every 42 minutes. xP

Out of sick curiosity, what is everyone's grace period? I know that is variable for different groups. h-bar, and therefore all of Cal Poly Physics, plays with 30 min grace period.

Amateurs. One of the heads of our student govt changed the homepage for all of the computers to youlostthegame.com or something stupid like that. Student goes to use the computer, lots of swearing, then 'I lost the game!' is yelled loud enough so the whole hallway could hear (which, for the record was quiet in comparison to the volume of the swearing). They really knew how to torture each other.

Augh, did you have to do that?! It's so hard to forget about it once I remember...I and a bunch of other people lost The Game a while ago when someone started a Sentence Game with an announcement of loss, and I only just recently stopped thinking about it! *stomps off muttering something unintelligible*

Just so you know, I'm not really mad...well, no more than anyone else, anyway.
