So hay.
I'm 16.
And my friend Brianna is 16.
I'm a month older.
ANYWAY.
Me, her, and my family are going down to LBI on Saturday for a week.
LBI, by the way, is Long Beach Island, a small island off the coast of New Jersey.
It's pretty cool.
ANYWAY TO THE POINT OF THIS TOPIC.
We have this crazy concept.
Of going parasailing.
I have a small fear of heights.
But that's all part of the rush you know?
We're thinking of using LBI Parasails.

And doing the tandem one.
Which means we're next to each other.
And we're going to request the "birthday dip"
So basically that means we're going to get dunked under the water at one point.
MY QUESTION IS.
Has anyone here gone parasailing?
Experiences.
Critisms.
Things to know.
Advice.

Skydiving seems so much manlier.
However, I hear parasailing is nice.

Ditto the posting comments.

However, yes, I have gone. I went last June with my family and my cousin. I did the tandem one with my cousin (my age), and it was great fun. Except our tandem was one behind the other, but whatever.

They did the dipping in the water for everyone though, regardless of whether it was a birthday or not.

I've never gone parasailing myself, but if I were you I'd google it a bit to find out if there's anything special you need to know. I hope you have fun with your friends. :)

ive been parasailing. And i thought it was BRILL! Im very much the adrenaline junkie so Ive bungee jumped and all before my 14th birthday!
