I saw the notice on another Neo site, and went and tried advert attack today. Previously, my high score was 398, but on my 3rd try today, I got the avatar! It takes 700 to earn it, but it wasn't that bad. Run and try it, if you still need the avatar.

My advice, same as I've read on guides, is to ignore the popups for as long as you can, and only worry about the ones that are blocking large areas of the play section (where the "GO!" things appear). I also close the ones you can't move (they're usually white and say "Close window here" or some such at the bottom of the popup) right away, since if they get covered, they're a pain.

I just tried the game and I had a terrible time. No game has run as slowly as that in a long, long time. It was totally frustrating, and I only got up to 236 points....through like 6 rounds I think there's definitely a bug with the game after that.

Ugh, the game starts lagging for me around the 3rd or 4th round, and from the beginning I've had to double click on the 'Go!' so that it would register.

Apparently it doesn't like me either.

How, exactly, has it become 'easier'? It seems the same game to me. And the score used to be 550, now's 700, it's like, worse!

Yes it seems easier, but the required score is higher My high score is only 527

There is a news post on Avatarlog that says, at the very least, the avatar for the game is easier to get...with only a score of 700.

The other thing that was really annoying when I tried to play yesterday was clicking the "GO" button. I had to click it at least 10 times before it accepted the click. I couldn't really click it until it stopped rotating.

I just played it, and in one game I got the avatar. Keep in mind I have not played this game in years...

I dunno about it being easier though. *shrugs* I reached the end of the game, so maybe it is?

It's a new version of the game. It's very sluggish for me, and I have a decent computer. It's got the same problem as Snow Wars II - too much stuff to keep track of, so it freaks out and slows down.

When clicking the OKs, don't click the starburst part - click only the center-ish area.

My experience was a combo of the above two Got the avatar having only played it once on release, but was close since the game froze up for a couple of seconds at a time on several occasions, often when dragging windows around.

Okay so, the game is freezing up on me too, and seems to take alot of system resources (laptop fans whirr like crazy, when they normally don't). I did get above 700 on my first try, though...only to have the game randomly restart with no score sent. I'm just now trying to get my score in again, but the funky freezing crap is annoying me.

EDIT: Got the avatar, and in my personal experience I found it much easier. On the earlier version of the game, I could barely get above 400.

There is horrible lag, it takes a zillion clicks for the Go Button to register my click, and it randomly restarted on me, this "remake" or whatever it's called is a disaster for me

I found that rapid double-clicking on the "Go" buttons seems to help. Is it just me, or did the "Go" buttons only register your click once they stopped spinning?
