It's Earth Day tomorrow! How do you try to help the Earth?
I watch my water consumption. Good for the Earth and the water bill! 6%  6%  [ 1 ]
Them 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! 6%  6%  [ 1 ]
Turnin' off lights when I leave a room. It's common sense anyway! 41%  41%  [ 7 ]
Energy Efficient Bulbs. So eco-friendly... and so swirly! 12%  12%  [ 2 ]
Cleanin' litter. Beautifying the planet one ugly food wrapper at a time. 6%  6%  [ 1 ]
Supporting eco-friendly causes. "I'm just one man/woman!" isn't in my vocabulary! 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
April 22nd is Earth What-now? *Tosses a soda can on the ground* 18%  18%  [ 3 ]

I do a couple of those things anyways, but tomorrow I've organized a school cleaning thing. So that is what I'll be doing (although it may be moved inside because of the wicked snow).

I will turn off all electrical appliances before I leave a room. My school has a '10%' group which encourages everyone to switch off unused lights and ACs in order to cut the electricity bill by 10%. If we acheive this goal, the money saved will be used by the student council to improve the facilities at school.

I don't really litter, but I don't really care about Earth Day either. I live in the Seattle area...everyday is Earth Day here. I'm tired of hearing about the environment...I do my part by recycling and saving energy...not going to celebrate Earth Day in any way whatsoever.

Where's the "Don't care, Earth is old she'll adapt" option?

Saying that, I recycle, have energy efficient bulbs, obsessively turn plugs and lights off when they aren't in use and have a minimal water bill, so I guess I care by not being wasteful?
