Hi!

I've never tried to put something on the auction before. Then I tried a little while ago. But it says something like: "Sorry, *THE THING* is too cheap to put on the auction. Only items that sell for roughly 200 NP or more qualify." But one of the things I tried to put on auction costed like 40.000 so I don't understand? Please help, what can I do?

Which item did you try to put up for auction? It could be that the "estimated" value is under 200 NPs.

It depends on the estimated value (which is in the item info popup box), not the actual market value.

I'm not a fan of the estimated value marker on items. I think it confuses too many people and it's almost never accurate.

Items such as Pile of Dung or Bottle of Red Sand are banned from auctions because they are too cheap. Before they started this action, there were floods of useless items (like dung) in auctions that no one wanted; this caused the auction servers to run very slowly and long wait times for an auction winner to get their item (and the seller to get their NPs)

They're worth like 50np, always have been. It's hilarious that the estimated value is 40k, I wonder if that was another TNT joke or if the person writing the lookup wasn't aware that they're given out on scratchcards all the dang time. Just stick it in your shop; auctions aren't very profitable since 1) people don't like to wait for their items, and 2) they end and you have to put it back up if no one bid.
