I'm planning to Rickroll a bunch of people this evening when they least expect it. I'll claim that I'm showing them video footage from a news station explaining the stuff that happened no campus today (We had a lockdown for two hours because someone was making threats. Not a joke, no lies).

Laugh at it, and then find some way to convince your friends to watch it by telling them it's something else.

I gave the knowledge of it to a friend so she could use it on her boyfriend, and I tried it on two of my friends. The first friend wisely read the title of the movie and realized i wasn't sending him a newscast about the lockdown. My second friend not only watched the movie, but cranked the sound before it loaded because I claimed it was a quiet video and you'd barely hear it otherwise...all within a minute of April 1st ending.
