Twlight vs paper, goggles vs none

Spent all my hard-won Neocash, planning to enter the customizatio0n spotlight; can't decide on a final look:

He's a steampunk mad scientist/engineer/artificer. I like the look.

So the questions are:
  • which background? Graphing paper for the scientist/engineer or Neovian twilight for the Victorian feel?
  • goggles or no goggles? Might get too busy (which is why I didn;t go for the telescoping monocle- it made his head look too lopsided)

I vote the neovian background. Regarding the goggles i'm not sure, he's cool both with and without them.

I picked the Neovian Twilight background just because I can't get into the Graph Paper Background at all... I don't think there's a single pet yet that looks good on it. I think the goggles are an interesting touch, but I think they make your Kougra look a bit crazy, so I actually think no goggles would be best.

Have you considered a Telescopic Monocle? It's not as busy as the goggles, yet it still suits the steampunk look.

Yes, I did- it made his head look lopsided (it sticks out too much) and the color (brown) gets lost in his color (tawny brown).

I'm kind of divided on the goggles thing, but I like the Neovian Twilight background better.
