Apparently I hadn't logged into my Neoquest game in over a year, and so I lost it... I was 2/3 of the way through on hard, too. It's my own fault; even if I didn't have time to play I could at least have gone to the game page once or twice. I vaguely thought it'd probably been since last fall, but by the time I checked it was gone.

So this is a friendly reminder to log into your NQ/NQ2 game before you lose it like I did.

Are you sure you have the right pet active? The game will only play on for the pet that you started the game with.

Yup. It's the right pet because I've only played the first level with one pet, and I was offered the choice between the two difficulty levels. But thanks for the reminder.

I can vouch: about a year ago, I too found that my Neoquest I progress had been reset because of my having not played it in a while.

So as a reminder to everyone who plays Neoquest: check in on it often if you want to keep your progress!

There used to be a glitch in NQI, but I think they've fixed it.

When my game was reset 2 years ago (I think), it kept the number of skill points I had. Since I was at lv. 17 or so in my previous game, I had an extra 16+7 skill points to spend in creating my 'new' pet.

P.S. Does anyone know whether the NQ2 reset similarly?
