there are two strawberry jelly flotsams?

I just bought one really cheap in a shop and am trying to price it. Sometimes I get my shop wiz line showing 200 nps and other times, I get that same shop wiz line showing 50,000.

I looked it up on the search bar and there are two listed as items. Both are exactly the same--same picture, same rarity 28, same description.

It would be just my luck to price it at 200 when it is worth 50,000.

What gives?

Hmmmm, I see what you mean. It seems like a glitch to me where one of those should be something else maybe, but I really don't know. It sure is weird.

The search bar thing is probably a glich, but the shop wizard priceing I think is strange, because if the 2 jelly flotams look exactly the same, and are the same rarity, then there is no reason that they will be priced with such a large difference.

Morningstar, I think I found the difference so you know which one you have...

The 200 np has an image link of http://images.neopets.com/items/jel_flot_red.gif

And the much more expensive one has an image link of
http://images.neopets.com/items/can_jelflot_red.gif


Otherwise, there is no difference, it seems, as far as the game knows.. because when I type that into the search bar, it comes up with two as you said and even the images are from the FIRST link! Eh?

So, see which one yours is and price it at that.

What happened is that they just released a bunch of flotsam jellies, and didn't realize that there were two.

The other Strawberry Jelly Flotsam is actually R80+, IIRC.

I bet there are a lot of people who have the cheaper version, but saw the higher priced line and, because of it priced their jelly at 50,000K. And, they are scratching their heads wondering why it isn't selling.

They used to have two different "strawberry scorchio cookies". Same itme name but different descriptions. I sent a report in. I never thought to check, but I noticed now there is a strawberry scorchio cookie and a strawberry scorcio treat.

I think this is probably what happened to the Strawberry Jelly Jetsams. Go figure, what with all the things that's released, I'm sure something will slip into the cracks!

Ironically , I was asked to get one of these for a quest last night. I was confused as the price went from so low to so high. Of course I bought the cheaper one.

But my question is... did it matter which one I bought? Would the quest have taken either one?

I've noticed about 2-3 other things in recent months with the same problem. I sent in a report, checked up on them for about a week-10 days then gave up. Glad to see they are working some of them out & renaming. But I really do wonder... If they don't even know the names of the stuff they are releasing vs the stuff already out there.... well, maybe they are just releasing TOO MUCH STUFF!

Wouldn't that cause turmoil is a faerie quest required one, and you got the wrong one? Ugh. I agree, too many items.
