I got nominated (sp?) for Who's Who in International Poetry for 2004 about 2 weeks ago.

Well the Who's Who commities search out for the top notch group for the year in many many areas. I was in the Who's Who AMoung American High School Students the 2 yrs my hs remembered to nominate some1. With Who's Who if your nominated and reply back w/ approval your in. Thus it means I'm one of the best poets they have for the year. *deflats ego bubble* I still never thought I was that good. Here's The poem I submited for the Who's Who book:

Darkest Sprite

You were alone, so I became your friend.

You were kind at the start but you began

To poke and probe with sharp, dark, piercing needles

Into my heart and mind. You tried to uproot

The secret rose garden that composes me. I asked

You to stop, but did you? NO! You plunged your

Blackened blades harder and harsher till my heart

Broke out in tears. I fled as far as I could and you

Followed. Finally I banished you from me so I could be

Free. I still see you from time to time, yet you'll be

Acknowledged no more!

It was wrote about the betrayal of some1 I thought to be a friend.
