I'm looking for some good original online fiction--that is, not fanfics, which I already read a lot of. I write as a hobby, so I'm curious about other amateur writers' work, especially those in the fantasy/sci-fi genre. Does anyone know of or want to recommend something?

Yep, I was going to suggest fictionpress.com, too. I never really browsed it too much (I'm more of a Harry Potter/LotR fanfiction reader), but I do know that fictionpress has a whole lot of original writing.
