Well, TNT changed the newbie pack. ;3 My friend pointed it out to me, and I just recently created an account so went and checked.

Here are the new items!

Mystery Of The Kougra Paw
(uncommon)

Blue Ixi Plushie
(rare)

Mashed Potato With Gravy

Wooden Blocking Shield

I just noticed that a few days ago when I collected the pack for one of my secondary accounts. I was a little surprised, but it was about time for it to change.

No, when you're a newbie and you have an empty inventory you click a button and they give you a few items.

It's weird to watch them change. In two years, this is the third one I've seen.

Edit: Oops, I misunderstood your question! Sorry about that. But yes, they're assigned.

Nope. If they did, a First or Secondary account could get a really rare item like... a Darigan Paint Brush... That would be cool though.

This so figures. I went to read the book to my book pet because its cheap now and what does she say? "That is like such a boring book".

Well, I guess a blocking shield would be SLIGHTLY more useful than a Rainbow Gun...

Same here. I thought they gave out random items that are of a certain category and rarity(like a R80 book).

Oh so that's why when I looked up Wooden Blocking Shield (I got it from the Wheel of Knowledge.. I've gotten a shield 3/7 times -_-) they were worth 1np..

That's odd.. I claimed a newbie pack the other day and got the Wooden Blocking Shield, along with a bar of chocolate of some description, a blue aisha plushie and a copy of Magic Paw. So was that the previous newbie pack? In which case why didn't they replace the shield? Am confused :/

Does anyone remember what items were in the Newbie Pack before the last one? I remember getting a Big Book of Puzzles and a Rainbow Gun when I claimed one the first time I was ever on Neo (in late 2002), but I can't recall the food and toy.
