i've noticed a "Watch this topic for replies" link at the bottom of each thread, and i was wondering what it means? how do you watch the topic?

When you click that link, every time someone replies an e-mail is sent to your e-mail address that says that someone has replied to it. :)

If you mean the "Always notify me of replies" feature, that sort of has nothing to do with it. Another option to "Watch this topic for replies" is to check the box "Notify me when a reply is posted" that is under the message enter box when you post.

On some of the other forums I frequent I have that setting checked automatically. It makes it easier to find replies to things I've posted, plus I love getting the mails each day. However, on a forum as large as this it would probably just be inconvenient, so I guess just check the ones you really want to watch for replies on.
