hpfan36 spent the night at my house and wanted to check her neomail and instead of typing neopets I accidently typed http://www.neomail.com/

A neomail site is coming soon. I feel special that I made a discovery on accident. I was not thinking or watching what I was typing.

That was found out a while ago, theres also a neopets toolbar with that link on it.

It depends on how the security is. If everyone makes their Neomail account represent their Neopets account (as in, password retrievals are sent there) then it would be bad. And unless it's on another server it'll cause major lag.

This does have to do with the whole portal and toolbar. Personally? I don't like it, but then I don't trust any of the web based email services (hotmail, yahoo). From what I had seen the one time I went to the portal, there's supposed to be a regular email and a "premium" email which sounds like you'd have to pay.

But I also mean that they can trick other people using the email saying their from TNT because the email address is neopets.

And of course knowing TNT this will probably all come out in 2 years, possibly with a fee

i got an email from tnt asking me to sign up, so i did, and it's pretty much hotmail but with neopets plastered everywhere.

Not if it says mailto:'@neomail.com' instead of mailto:'@neopets.com'. But even then, some people will be fooled. Maybe they'll have a word filter that prevents you from doing that.
