Hello all! I'm brand new to the forums, so I thought I would introduce myself. I'm Carrie, or Liana, or NQL. I'm 26 and from Minnesota. I'm married and have a three year old son.

Let's see...what to tell about myself...I'm obsessed with Neopets and the Neopets Trading Card Game. I write for Neocards, Pojo, and I just started today as a guest bloggist at The Neopian Commentary! (I warned you that I'm obsessed)

On Neopets, I collect avatars, Kreludan items, stamps, and collectable cards. I am truly a pack rat. In real life, I enjoy playing the Neopets Trading Card Game, reading, scrapbooking, water skiing (when the family boat isn't broken), and playing The Sims and Final Fantasy games. My favorite hobby is playing trains with my son though.

Enough about me! LOL! Just wanted to swing by and say hello. I can't wait to get to know everyone!

Pengo, FOUR kids? LOL! I only have one and he's a handful! LOL! They're fun though too.

So where should I go visiting on the boards? What shouldn't I miss around here?

I personally love to "haunt" the game help and general Neo help areas on the forums. I've been on Neopets for 27 months now (woohoo!) and I remember how frustrating it was as a New Member to find my way around. I loooove to help others with questions etc.... (I guess that's part of my "mothering" instinct!) Anyway, I had "lurked" for over a year on PPT and finally decided that "Hey! I know as much about Neopets as the next guy so why don't I join??" And here I am and the rest (hopefully) will be history!!

My three year old already has his own account. He loves all my Neopets, but he wanted a "Dinosaur" (Grarrl). So we started an account for him, and now he has George the Dinosaur. We only feed it and play with it and get the jelly and omelette each day, but when he gets older, he'll have an account. Yeppers, I'm obsessed. But it IS good for him to have to feed and play with it each day. We're about to get him some fish, and then maybe a dog if he takes care of the fish.

Helping newbies IS fun. It's really funny the things people think when they first start playing Neopets. And EVERYONE can laugh, because they did something silly when they got started too.
