Ah, here's to hoping this is the right place for this! XD

I'm in a little bit of a rut here. I finally got the pet names I'd been wanting a little over a month ago, and tonight decided it was high time to start working on getting them painted and 'designed' and the like. So I started drawing my kougra, Riddikulus (shush, I realize that's my forum username too :P), who is (as you might've guessed) roughly based on Harry Potterish things.

So, I drew this picture, and then realized I had no clue what I wanted her markings and stuff to be like, nor what I wanted to paint her. I was thinking about Halloween, but it just doesn't have the quirkyness I'm looking for. I wish Kougras came in Disco! :P

Anyway, based on this picture that I drew, can I get any suggestions on what to paint her?

EDIT: Ha, OpenCanvas froze up before I could color it and take a screenshot.. darn that stupid trial version and its inability to save! I'm going to poke my parents into letting me buy it one of these days. At any rate, I did get a shot of it after I added the markings. They are cape-like! Still not sure what color she'll be, but I'll keep thinking. XD

The frount legs and paws are a little odd. O_O

Umm..I agree with Island. There needs to be a Meridel paintbrush rather then royal. That peasent looks would have looked great on her

Yeah, paws and legs aren't really my strong point XD I'm working on it though, and I gotta say I've come a long way from the box-feet! LOL. I think I like the idea of Island best. I must've passed up Requiem's mention of it. My brain has been so fried these past few days!
