Why do we have an outbox? I tried to send a letter to someone and it went to my outbox and never got sent. Is it because someone has to monitor our letters? Well anyway, I tried to send a letter to borovan but maybe it is good it didn't send because he is busy.

I actually find the outbox really useful, especially since I send PMs on a near-daily basis.

What it does is that whenever you send a PM, it goes straight to there. If the receiver hasn't opened it, deleted it, read it, whatever...it stays in there until they do. And after they open it, the message goes out of your outbox and into your sentbox.

So that would mean that borovan hasn't read your message yet.

I believe that when something is in your outbox it is not that it hasn't been sent, but it hasn't been opened yet. It's good because if there is something you wanted to add or change you can edit it from your outbox or delete it all together since they haven't opened it yet.

If someone deletes your PM without reading it, does it stay in your outbox or does it go to your sentbox? I was never sure about that. ;)

The outbox and sentbox come in super handy, a certain SOMEONE never quotes what I say so I often have to go look at what I said because I forget... XP

Sapphire Faerie and I actually tested it just now.

I sent her a PM and it appeared in my Outbox.
She deleted the PM. It no longer appeared in my Outbox. Nor, apparently, my Sentbox. It completely vanished.
